Chapter 18
1. What does Katniss do for Rue?
Katniss did something very sweet and in a way rebelious towards the Capitol and Rue. Katniss covered Rue in a bunch of beautiful flowers and it had seemed to Katniss as if she were to be sleeping in a flowerbed. But sadly Rue won't be waking up. It is rebelious to the Capitol because Katniss wanted to show them she was not just another piece of their games. This is what Peeta had told Katniss on the train and she finally underwhat he meant.
2. Who sponsers a gift for her? What is it?
The sponsers of the gift that Katniss receives is from District 11. The gift that they sent her was a loaf of bread to show their gratitude to what Katniss has done to Rue and Katniss thinks that they too do not like to owe people.
3. How does Katniss's attitude change after Rue's death?
Katniss's attitude is transformed into someone who has their head into the game, someone who will stop at nothing to win the games and she is doing this for Rue and for Prim and for all the people that have to go through the types of things the Capitol puts them through every single day. She hates the Capitol and wants them to end their power.
4. What rule change do the Gamemakers announce?
The change of the rules is announced and it said that if both the girl and the boy tributes survive the Hunger Games they can both win. Katniss is excited yet confused because she wants both herself and Peeta to make it home.
